GNAA ALUMNI HOME COMING

The Associate Director, Biblical Research Institute for General Conference of Seventh Days Adventist Church, USA, Pastor Dr. KwabenaDonkorhas underscored important for the Church to focus on teaching her membership to live Christ-like character. According to him Christendom today is witnessing an unhealthy balance between the gift of the spirit and the fruit of spirit. It said it is no wonder that those who claimed to be prophets and apostles are engaged in one form of scandal or another. Dr. Donkor was speaking at the Alumni Home-Coming of the Ghana National Association of Adventists Students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, in Kumasi. He asked Adventist students to strictly focus on sound teachings of the Gospel and exhibit exemplary Christian character and integrity, while eschewing all forms of negative tendencies. The Vice Chancellor of Valley View University, Professor Dr. Daniel Bour expressed serious concern about the upsurge of social vices globally which he said has no place in the teaching of Jesus Christ. He therefore charged the Adventist students to spearhead a crusade to bring positive transformation especially among their peers on campus and in their communities. The President of the Adventist Students Association, Isaiah Kofi Arhin said the group started with seven members and can now boast of 650 members. He said the thrust of activities of the Association is evangelization on campus and in rural communities during vacation periods.
